Joanne is the owner Fruitastic Bouquets (find them on Facebook HERE).

Her studio space is great; she has a preparation area and a wrapping area.

As you can see, her work is simply scrumptious. I think I’d overdose on fruit the first day!

Joanne has a variety of items to use for the bouquets. She even has Holiday-themed or Occasion-themed items.

This is a small example of the types of bouquets she made recently. The fruit looked so juicy and fresh!

And honestly, chocolate-covered strawberries? YUM.

She has various ideas and offered to use a pin (or you could use a cake topper, monogram, etc…) as the topper!

1- How did you get started in this business?

I was surrounded by people in business from a young age. I always knew I wanted to start my own business, but always thought it is not the right time.  I now realize it was just an excuse.  After 18 years of working in the food industry and now in my 50’s. I now know it was time years ago and decided to go for it!

In 2012 I started my own business in the Valley. I always enjoyed going the extra mile to add something special to any event, that is just who I am. I always had to add a little something different, or create something with the nothing. A pat of butter could not just be a pat of butter for your dinner roll it had to be shaped into a rose with leaves.

I am now doing what I love. I create Art you can Eat!

2- What is your specialty?

All out customer service! Creating custom fruit bouquets Exclusive to the Sudbury area is our vegetable bouquets with dip.

3- How could a couple take advantage of the products you offer as their wedding day approaches?

A wedding day is such a special event for the couple.  There is a lot of preparation before that special day.  Here are some ideas.

The bridal shower is where a beautiful fruit bouquet can be part of your buffet table.

The rehearsal dinner is sure to start up a conversation with a fruit bouquet centerpiece loaded with fresh juicy pineapples, strawberries, cantaloupes and all of your favorite fruits.

The day of your wedding, as you and your bridesmaids are getting ready your sweetheart sends you one dozen beautiful long stem Dark Belgian chocolate covered strawberries in a box sealed with love.

How sweet is that!

4- Do you have ideas for wedding favors or wedding day goodies?

Everyone loves chocolate covered strawberries dressed up in a tuxedo and wedding dress. For the wedding day a beautiful two or three tier cake made of a variety of strawberries (white chocolate, dark Belgian chocolate or any special color) with beautiful deep red strawberries.

5- What are the most popular fruits to use for bouquets?

Strawberries, Strawberries and more Strawberries!  They are always a must in any fruit bouquet plain or chocolate covered. Pineapple shaped flowers make the whole bouquet stand out.

6- What is your favorite part of a wedding day?

The journey that the couple will be sharing together forever!

7- Do you have any advice for Brides & Grooms?

Your future has begun, compromising is always a good start and never take for granted your love for each other.

Joanne was so sweet, she prepared yummy chocolate-covered strawberries for the kids. They devoured them! 🙂
