A friend of mine, Derek van Vliet, linked me to these interesting assignments found at Digital Photography School. This one has you taking a photograph of something that is 10 meters away from you.
We have all sorts of interesting junk lying around the house. We have these flowers, which I don’t know the name, which look really nice. In my opinion they smell bad. My wife says they are “perfumy”. They do photograph well so I decided to take a macro shot with my Nikkor 105mm.
I added a reference photo to prove this item was indeed in my home. You can view the thread on DPS here.

We’re moving sometime in July and this new house has a 30×40 garage. Just take a guess into what it will be transformed. Yes you guessed it! Our brand new studio. I just can’t wait to get ownership and start working on making a rediculous photo studio. The future looks bright my friends!

What a blast we had at Kim and Derek’s wedding last weekend. I haven’t had a chance to blog about their special day yet since Rosie and I have been busy with some post-processing fun. Once they come back from their trip we’ll have a sit-down and show them all the candid moments from their wedding day.
Pictures soon to follow.
