Took a little trip to Toronto this past weekend to meet up with some good friends. Being in Toronto usually involves a pub and then some great discussion about photography. This trip was no different.
Spent the day Saturday doing a shoot with a friend of mine Nick Coombe. We were doing so well until it got bloody cold and had to trek back to the condo. We did get a few fridged shots though.
I love the texture on this one. Toronto is so full of great areas to get some really urban shots.
At this point it was really starting to get cold. Still made for a very casual looking capture.
Nick was such a good sport. Despite the cold weather he still was very willing to pose. I didn’t have to pay this guy! Thanks Nick!
These dramatic poses really make me happy. I’m not sure why but I like the duality it gives to the subject. Can you feel the power of the dark side? Ok, I’m a bit of a geek…
I can’t wait to get back to Toronto for some more fun. Hopefully it will be warmer this time!

Well, not really, but this little…uh…guy (I think) was really creaping me out.
We went to the hospital to visit a good friend of ours, Christine. She recently had a baby and we were there to visit. Don’t worry, I took a ton of shots of her little one, but I did sneak a few of this creapy test baby before the nurses told me to put the camera away.
